Following the appointment of Jorg Schmadtke as Liverpool's new sporting director, we asked where his priorities should lie in the summer transfer window.

Dan: Tielemans should be a no-brainer. I reckon we could bring out the best in him.
Lewy: Tyler Adams from Leeds would help our midfield problem and probably not break the bank. One more from the likes of Rice, Mount and Koopmeiners would then be enough if Trent makes his midfield move permanent and Walker-Peters to replace him at right-back. Genuinely don’t think we’ll need more once Nunez starts firing (40 goals next season mark my words).
Joshua: Liverpool should prioritise the midfield. They could target Ward-Prowse and Maddison. Trent isn't good enough, so they should sell him and use that money to buy either Sule, Balde, Carvajal, or James.
Ben: I don't have any specifics in mind but I want to see the club with a some real ambition, something we ask for most summers. Just the mindset to really go out and fix the midfield.
Tom: They need to work on their midfield as players are getting older so Alexis Mac Allister would be a great World Cup-winning signing.
