Chaim Topol is an Israeli actor, singer, comedian, and producer. He was born on September 9, 1935, in Tel Aviv, Israel. Topol began his acting career in the early 1960s and rose to international fame for his role as Tevye the dairyman in the musical “Fiddler on the Roof” in the late 1960s.
